What is Tandem Skydiving?
Skydive San Joaquin Valley gives you the opportunity to enjoy the exhilarating experience of tandem skydiving. After 15 minutes of ground instruction, you will ride to an altitude of 13,000 feet. You and your instructor are harnessed together as you jump out of the airplane. You get to feel the rush of flying at speeds of more than 120 mph. After about a minute of freefall, the parachute is deployed leading to a ten-minute canopy ride to bring you back to the ground. All of this while you take in the stunning views of three surrounding mountain ranges. A tandem jump is an excellent introduction to the exciting sport of skydiving.
You’ll need to bring lace-up shoes and your photo ID. You should wear comfortable clothes and make sure you have 2-4 hours to spend at here from arrival to when you’re finished.
Located less than an hour away from the San Fernando Valley, you can appreciate the unbelievable views of central California from a bird's eye view, without spending your entire day driving to get there.

When you tandem skydive with us, you’ll be attached to a licensed tandem instructor. Our tandem instructors are licensed by and adhere to the strict guidelines set by the United States Parachute Association (USPA) and parachute manufacturers. We strive to ensure your experience will be as safe as it can be to jump out of an airplane at 13,000 feet.

Skydiving can be an expensive sport. No one knows that better than we do. Between the cost of gear, lessons and gas just to get to the dropzone, who can come up with the money to make more than one or two jumps?
We have a way to help you enjoy skydiving for a minimum out-of-pocket expense to you.
You get a $25 credit toward your jumps for every paid tandem customer you bring to the DZ. If you bring ten friends, that's $250 you just earned toward your own jumps.
