What are we?

Skydive San Joaquin (pronounced wah-KEEN) Valley is the only skydiving center in the central valley of California.

Surrounded on three sides by mountains, with the Valley stretching away to the north, views from altitude are spectacular.

SSJV sits on 160 acres of privately owned property. With a lush green landing area and plenty of “outs” for landing, we offer a fun, friendly place where you can feel at home, no matter the level of your skydiving skills. We encourage a feel-good attitude while promoting the sport of skydiving.

We are a full-service facility dedicated to making your next skydive your best one ever.

Our staff is made up of certified, experienced tandem and Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) instructors to help you get started in the most exciting extreme sport of all.

Where are we?

Family owned and operated, Skydive San Joaquin Valley, or SSJV, is located less than two miles west of the I-5 freeway in the San Joaquin Valley, about 20 miles south of Bakersfield.

Less than 75 miles north of the San Fernando Valley, the drop zone is a scenic drive up Interstate 5, over the Tejon Pass.

When are we open?

SSJV is open every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until sunset.
