What are we?

SSJV offers you a full-skydiving experience. If you want to taste the thrill of a tandem skydive or want to cross skydiving off your bucket list of things to do, we can make your first skydive your best experience ever. We cater to fun jumpers, taking you to 13,000 feet in less than ten minutes in our King Air A-90.

• Our airplanes are a Beechcraft King Air capable of hauling 12 jumpers to altitude and a Cessna 182 for smaller loads of 3 – 4 jumpers.
• Our staff is made up of certified, experienced tandem and Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) instructors to help you get started in the most exciting extreme sport of all.

Where are we?

SSJV is 22 miles southwest of Bakersfield in the southern San Joaquin Valley. Less than two miles west of Interstate 5, taking the Copus Road exit. It is the skydiving facility closest to the northern Los Angeles metro area.

Less than 75 miles away from the San Fernando Valley, the DZ is a scenic drive up Interstate 5.

When are we open?

SSJV is open from 8:00 a.m. until dark, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and most holidays.
